John Finch will lead the next Research Field Trip to the Genealogy collection at the San Diego Central Library (330 Park Blvd., San Diego) on Wednesday, 22 March 2017.
We will carpool from the Chula Vista parking garage (between Fuddruckers and Marie Callenders, meet on the second floor midway between the entrances) and leave at 10 a.m., and park in the lot across from the Library. We will leave the library at about 2 p.m.
The San Diego Central Library has a genealogy book and periodical collection on the 9th floor, along with a Rare Books and a San Diego archival collection. There are several computers with Ancestry.com and other subscription and free record providers. The San Diego Genealogical Society provides docents to help researchers.
