Saturday, August 3 Workshop is "RootsMagic 6 Revisited"

The next CVGS Workshop will be on Saturday, 3 August from 12 noon until 3 p.m. at the Bonita-Sunnyside Library (4375 Bonita Road) in the Community Room.

Randy Seaver will lead a “RootsMagic 6 Revisited” discussion and demonstration.  Topics will include creating Research Logs, creating To-Do Lists, creating a Correspondence list, working with Problem Alerts, the Gazetteer, creating quality source citations, and interfacing with the new FamilySearch Family Tree. There will be a question-and-answer time also.

Bring your laptops with RootsMagic installed (update your version if you haven't already).  Note: any version of RootsMagic will work, but only Version 6.3 will have the latest features and be able to access the FamilySearch Family Tree.

If you want to work in FamilySearch Family Tree, be sure that you are a registered user of FamilySearch (https://www.familysearch.org/register/ ) - it's FREE and easy (but you will need to know your login and password information).
