A “Genealogy 101” workshop for beginning genealogists will be held at the Chula Vista Civic Center Branch Library (365 F Street in Chula Vista) in the Conference Room on Tuesday evenings in April – April 5, 12, 19 and 26, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Students should attend all sessions. Randy Seaver will be the presenter.
The class will cover getting started in genealogy research, basic principles, charts and reports, file organization, different record types, library and online resources, genealogy software, and more.
There will be a $10 fee for class materials (payable at the first class).
